TippyBits is a publication and consulting business launched by me - David Tippett. It exists as a place to discuss open source information processing and storage systems such as Valkey, OpenSearch, and Ray. I began it after leaving my role as the lead developer advocate for OpenSearch at AWS. Now I am pursuing clients as a consultant specializing in OpenSearch.

My work with OpenSearch has spanned many areas. When I spoke about optimizing OpenSearch's ingestion at OpenSearchCon 2023 it was the top talk. I've worked with dozens of companies helping them build generative AI (GenAI) systems.
